From William Cole: At 934 PM CST, MesoScan Radar was tracking strong T-Storms along a line extending from Red Oak to 6 miles northwest of Lake Whitney State Park. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Waxahachie, Ennis, Midlothian, Glenn Heights, Red Oak, Hillsboro, Clifton, Ovilla, Venus, Ferris, Whitney, Palmer, Italy, Itasca, Grandview and Meridian. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
