From William Cole: A Flood Advisory has been issued for Denton & Tarrant Counties in the Metroplex until 3:00 AM. Ponding on the roadways and localized street flooding is possible.
At 1157 PM CST, MesoScan Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to T-Storms which will cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Storms are producing as much as 1.5 inches of rain in an hour or less.
Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.
