From William Cole: At 1219 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Deport to near Campbell to near McKinney. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include… Dallas, Plano, Garland, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Allen, Rowlett, Wylie, Rockwall, The Colony, Greenville, Sachse, Sulphur Springs, Addison, Commerce, Little Elm, Murphy and Prosper. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… If on or near Lake Lavon…Lake Ray Hubbard or Lake Tawakoni, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle.
