From William Cole: At 421 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Goldthwaite to near Bend to 6 miles south of Chappel. Movement was east at 30 mph. Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include… Lampasas, Goldthwaite, Evant and Lometa. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so closely monitor for additional information or possible warnings from the National Weather Service. &&
