From William Cole: At 1142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Blossom to near Whitewright. Movement was east at 40 mph. The Paris Airport recorded 35 mph wind gusts around 11:30 P.M. Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include… Sherman, Paris, Denison, Bonham, Anna, Van Alstyne, Howe, Pottsboro, Leonard, Cooper, Honey Grove, Whitewright, Gunter, Blossom, Wolfe City, Bells, Tom Bean, Savoy, Celeste and Ector. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. &&
