From William Cole: A Flood Advisory has been issued for Collin, Dallas, Denton & Tarrant Counties in the Metroplex until 7:45 PM. Ponding on the roadways and localized street flooding is possible.
At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. The storms are producing between 1 and 2 inches of rain in one hour which will likely lead to ponding on roadways during the afternoon commute.
Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.
