The forecast continues to hold that a line of storms will develop out in the Big County just west of North Texas and push east as we go through the late evening and into the overnight. Hail and wind and even a few tornadoes are possible. The timeline for the DFW Metroplex is 2 am – 7 am Wednesday morning. Quarter to half dollar sized hail is possible in the Metroplex along with wind gusts 50 – 60 mph. The organized tornado threat is low however, a brief spin up tornado can’t be ruled out along the leading edge of the line.
