From William Cole: At 100 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Graham to 9 miles northeast of Rising Star. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Graham, Breckenridge, Eastland, Cisco, Ranger, Gorman, Graford, Gordon, Necessity, Possum Kingdom State Park, Gunsight, Crystal Falls, Strawn, Carbon and Mingus. This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 329 and 363, and between mile markers 368 and 382. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
