From William Cole: At 1030 PM CST, MesoScan Radar was tracking strong T-Storms along a line extending from near Cumby to 6 miles west of Seven Points. Movement was east at 45 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include Sulphur Springs, Canton, Wills Point, Grand Saline, Mabank, Van, Edgewood, Emory, Kemp, East Tawakoni, Cumby, Como, Fruitvale, Edom, Lake Tawakoni State Park, Purtis Creek State Park and Point. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
