Rain and Snow Late Wednesday and Thursday?

As a strong Jet Stream storm system moves directly across North Texas – rain chances will quickly be increasing Tuesday but especially into Wednesday. Locally heavy rain is possible. Wednesday night into Thursday is the more interesting part of this forecast. Right now, the latest weather data has this storm system on the exact perfect track to see snow on the back side of the system late Wednesday and into Thursday. Snow chances appear to be best in our Western Counties with more of a rain snow mix possible in the Metroplex. This system has to be watched carefully – if this data continues to hold there may be an opportunity for even a few bands of heavy snow.
