From William Cole: At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southeast of Trinidad, or 16 miles southwest of Athens, moving west at 5 mph. Pea size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include… Trinidad. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so closely monitor for additional information or possible warnings from the National Weather Service. &&
