From William Cole: A Heat Advisory has been issued in the Texas Weather Tracker TV coverage area for Anderson, Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Fannin, Henderson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Rains, Rockwall, Tarrant & Van Zandt Counties in North TX until 7:00 PM.

WHAT…Heat index values up to 109 are expected. WHERE…Portions of north central and northeast Texas. WHEN…For the first Heat Advisory, until 7 PM CDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM CDT Sunday. IMPACTS…Hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the risk for heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
