For the North Atlantic…Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
A non-tropical low pressure system producing gale-force winds is located a few hundred miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The low should continue moving eastward at about 15 mph through Friday, away from shore. The low is then expected to turn southeastward on Saturday toward slightly warmer waters, and it could acquire some subtropical characteristics over the weekend or early next week while over the central Atlantic.
