Heavy downpour showers have developed in our Southwestern Counties – around the Granbury to Stephenville area. Locally heavy rain is likely with that activity and it drifting slowly south. Other lighter showers are ongoing in our Eastern Counties and those are drifting slow east. Sprinkles to light rain is possible there.

Another chance of small popcorn type showers tomorrow with variably cloudy skies. Then it’s five star weather into the weekend with a fresh and dry Northeast wind and highs in the mid 80’s Next week also looks quiet for this time of year. Almost — too quiet.

Widely scattered small popcorn showers remain possible through early evening. Brief heavy downpours will be possible. The activity will wind-down after sunset.

The Allergy Report today is unchanged with double red. The Ragweed and Elm Tree pollen remain the main problem with Pig-weed and Mold spores also showing up.
