Overnight rainfall was confined to our Northeastern and Eastern Counites with most of the heavy rain East of our general coverage area. Sulphur Springs received nearly 1 inch of generous rainfall.
As advertised last nights cold front was windy as it came through North Texas. Some of the highest wind gusts of the night were recorded right here in the Metroplex with DFW recording a peak wind gust of 47 mph.
It’s a cooler start to the work week behind last nights windy cold front. 6 am temperatures are a mix of 60’s across North Texas with a breezy North wind. Rain and storms in parts of the area overnight have ended with a clean sweep of radar.
