A freeze is likely across most of North Texas tonight including the Metroplex. It will be a light freeze but make sure you remember your outdoor pets and any tender vegetation.

Rain chances return to North Texas late Friday night and early Saturday morning with scattered showers. Right now, it looks like rainfall amounts will be light with the heavier amounts up in Oklahoma.
