William’s North Texas Hazardous Weather Forecast this Evening:
Isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening and then again overnight as a complex of storms arrives from the west. Lightning, gusty winds and heavy rainfall will be the main threats. Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of rural and urban areas.
From William Cole: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the Texas Weather Tracker TV coverage area for Johnson County in North TX until 10:15 PM.
At 708 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding across the northeastern parts of the county. Several roads have become impassable due to flood water. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen with up to 1 to 2 inches of additioanl rain possible.

From William Cole: A Flood Advisory has been issued for Tarrant County in the Metroplex until 8:00 PM. Ponding on the roadways and localized street flooding is possible.
At 517 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving northward across much of Tarrant county. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area.

1″-3″+ of rain has fallen today West of the DFW Metroplex on I-20 around the Weatherford area. Radar is estimated possibly as much as 4″. A flash flood warning has been issued for the area. Remember never drive through standing water. If you see water – turn around don’t drown.

At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across central and southwestern Parker county and northwestern Hood county. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen since 1 pm. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
