At 421 PM CDT, local law enforcement and trained spotters reported flooding due to thunderstorms producing heavy rain from Cockrell Hill to north Dallas to Richardson. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Although the heavy rain has ended, flash flooding is still ongoing.

At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Areas that are low lying or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area.
