At 400 AM CDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ida was located near latitude 34.1 North, longitude 88.9 West. The depression is moving toward the northeast near 12 mph (19 km/h), and Ida is expected to continue gradually accelerating to the northeast over the next couple days.
