For the North Atlantic…Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
A non-tropical low pressure system producing gale-force winds is located a few hundred miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The low should continue moving eastward at about 15 mph through Friday, away from shore. The low is then expected to turn southeastward on Saturday toward slightly warmer waters, and it could acquire some subtropical characteristics over the weekend or early next week while over the central Atlantic. A Windy Day in North Texas

Expect a windy day in North Texas. The same powerful storm system that brought severe weather to North Texas early yesterday morning is now cranking the winds across the area. Winds may gust from 35 – 45 mph as we go through the afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in effect for all of North Texas as we go through the day.
