William’s North Texas Hazardous Weather Forecast for Saturday:

Light freezing rain and freezing drizzle may cause minor icing of bridges and overpasses this morning, the greatest potential being north and west of a line from Comanche to Denton. Freezing drizzle could briefly extend eastward into the I-35 corridor around sunrise. Any impacts should abate later this morning as temperatures rise above freezing.

From William Cole: A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area from 4:00 AM Sat until 12:00 PM Saturday for Bosque, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Erath, Hamilton, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise & Young Counties in North Texas.

Areas of freezing rain or freezing drizzle are expected to develop producing a trace to a few hundredths of ice accumulation. A light glaze will be possible, especially on bridges and overpasses.
