Freezing rain and sleet will continue to impact all of North and Central Texas tonight. Heavier freezing rain and sleet will develop after midnight with more significant impacts to travel expected in the early morning hours, including the Thursday morning commute. The highest ice accumulation will be across North Texas generally east of I-35.

From William Cole: A Winter Storm Warning has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area from now until 6:00 PM Thursday for Delta, Ellis, Hopkins, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Rains & Van Zandt Counties in North Texas.

A mix of freezing rain and sleet. New ice accumulations between one tenth to one quarter inch. Sleet accumulation less than one quarter inch.
